Anshul Kamboj scripted history

Overall, Kamboj is the sixth Indian to claim a 10-wicket haul in first class cricket, while he is only the third bowler to do so in Ranji Trophy.

In a historic moment during the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024/25, Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj scripted history by becoming only the third bowler in Ranji Trophy history to claim all 10 wickets in an innings. Facing Kerala in a round 5 clash, the 23-year-old produced a sensational spell, dismissing every batter and bowling out Kerala for 291 in the first innings.

Kamboj joins an elite group of Indian bowlers, including Premangshu Chatterjee (1957) and Pradeep Sunderam (1985), who have achieved this rare feat in Ranji Trophy history. Overall, he is the sixth Indian to take 10 wickets in a first-class innings, alongside legends like Subhash Gupte, Anil Kumble, and Debasis Mohanty. The BCCI domestic handle celebrated his achievement with a social media post, hailing the "WOW" moment and sharing glimpses of his phenomenal spell.
