Due to ongoing development at the National Stadium to prepare it for the Champions Trophy in 2025, the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been moved from Karachi to Rawalpindi. The two-match series originally scheduled Karachi to host Bangladesh from August 30 to September 3. Because of redevelopment work, the game was supposed to take place without any spectators. However, now that the PCB has moved the game to a new location, fans will be able to attend the match. In two months, England is scheduled to visit Karachi as well.

With seven Test matches and an ODI tri-series against South Africa and New Zealand, Pakistan is set to have a wonderful home season. However, as the Champions Trophy in February will be the first ICC competition to be staged in Pakistan since the ODI World Cup in 1996, it is the main event. The board has been working on sprucing up its stadiums to ensure it goes off successfully.
