Delhi Capitals' 19-run victory over the Lucknow Super Giants
Poor net run rates of DC and LSG give them a slim chance of advancing.
Both of these clubs' prospects of making the playoffs have decreased as a result of the Delhi Capitals' 19-run victory over the Lucknow Super Giants. With two games remaining, the Rajasthan Royals secured a playoff position thanks to the outcome at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
After all games were played, DC moved up to fifth place in the standings with 14 points, level with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in fourth place and the Chennai Super Kings in third. However, the runners-up in 2020 have a terrible net run rate (-0.377). For DC to have any chance, SRH has to lose both of its games by a combined score of close to 200 runs. LSG, on the other hand, suffered a severe blow following their third straight defeat and now sit seventh in the standings with one game remaining and just 12 points available.
