Harshit Rana joins India nets in Mumbai
As India prepares for the third Test against a challenging New Zealand side, the inclusion of fresh talent like Harshit Rana adds versatility and vigour to the practice sessions.
Delhi pacer Harshit Rana has been asked to bowl in the Indian nets at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai before the third Test match against New Zealand. The addition of the 22-year-old seamer gives India's pregame training sessions more vitality and vigor on Friday. Harshit Rana has been playing well in the domestic season and was recently selected for India's 18-man team for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. Rana was crucial to Delhi's 10-wicket victory at the Arun Jaitley Stadium with an impressive 5 for 80 and 2 for 61 against Assam and a strong 59-run effort.
Harshit Rana has already invested significant time in training as a reserve bowler with Mayank Yadav, Nitish Reddy, and Prasidh Krishna, who all bowled in the nets during the first Test match in Bengaluru.
