India A set to face Australia A on November 7
KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel are all set to travel to Australia for the India A match against Australia A, starting November 7, PTI reports suggest.
The second 'unofficial Test' between India A and Australia A will begin on November 7 at the MCG, and senior batsman KL Rahul and reserve keeper Dhruv Jurel will be traveling to Australia to play in order to gain some playing time before to the opening match in Perth on November 22. Jurel, who made his debut against England earlier this year, hasn't played since Rishabh Pant's return, while Rahul was a member of the Indian team for the New Zealand series and played the first game before being left out of the starting lineup.
The management of the Indian team wants to give everyone an equal opportunity to play, especially the reserves, who may be called upon at any point during a seven-week series.
