In the summer, Juve and Inter will compete for the Ligue 1 goal machine
The striker Jonathan David, who has been among the best players in Europe for the past several years, is expected to switch teams at the end of the current campaign.
When the season ends, Jonathan David’s contract with Lille expires, and it doesn't appear probable that he will sign a new one. Considering that he has been one of the top attackers in France, it is remarkable that no club has signed him from the Ligue 1 team in recent years. Given that the Canadian is now expected to depart on a free transfer, Lille is probably regretting their choice not to sell him sooner for a lesser sum. Juventus may act when he becomes a free agent, having expressed interest in signing him for a while.
They won't be the only Serie A team fighting for his signing. Juve will have to fight with Inter Milan to add the striker to their roster because they are rumored to be interested in signing him as well.
