The Crystal Palace star won’t be available in the quarter final
The Crystal Palace star won’t be available in the quarter final, if England make it that far.
Marc Guehi, a defender for Crystal Palace, had a terrible first half against Slovakia in England's Euro 2024 round of 16 match in Germany.
Gareth Southgate, the manager of the Three Lions, started the 23-year-old again, pairing him with John Stones of Manchester City in the middle of the defense. The England manager has started this partnership in every Euro 2024 game thus far. Guehi had an agonizing start to the match, as he was given a yellow card after only three minutes and discovered his name in the referee's book early on. After being thrown into danger by Kieran Trippier, the defender fouled David Strelec, the opponent. Guehi received his second yellow card of the competition from referee Umut Meler. The Eagles player received a second booking during Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Slovenia.
