Fulham rallied for a 2-1 home win over Brentford
Substitute Harry Wilson scored twice in added time as Fulham rallied for a 2-1 home win over Brentford in the Premier League on Monday.
Wilson entered the game in the 82nd minute and equalized in the second minute of injury time by flicking the ball inside the far post while facing away from the goal after meeting a cross from Adama Traore. Four minutes later, Fulham was eventually rewarded for its offensive style when he scored the game-winning header with a stooping header from another cross from Antonee Robinson.
Fulham dominated the early going and had only fallen behind 113 minutes in the league all season until Brentford broke the flow of play to grab the lead in the 24th minute. The visitors gained control due to Fulham's careless midfield play, and German midfielder Vitaly Janelt fired a shot from nearly 30 meters out that went inside Bernd Leno's left-hand post. Wilson's late double gave Fulham, led by Marco Silva, the opportunity to score despite their best efforts.
