Fulham secured a 2-0 win over 10-man Crystal Palace
Harry Wilson scored his third goal as a substitute in the space of a week as Fulham climbed to sixth place in the Premier League table.
Fulham secured a 2-0 win over 10-man Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, with Emile Smith Rowe and Harry Wilson finding the net in either half. Smith Rowe opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, skillfully converting Raul Jimenez's pass past Dean Henderson. Early in the second half, Smith Rowe nearly doubled the lead, but his effort was ruled out for offside.
Palace’s struggles deepened in the 76th minute when Daichi Kamada received a red card for a reckless challenge on Kenny Tete. Fulham capitalized on the advantage, and Wilson sealed the win in the 83rd minute, finishing coolly from Alex Iwobi's precise throughball. Though Wilson had another goal disallowed for handball, the victory moved Fulham to sixth place with 18 points, while Palace, with their sixth loss, dropped to 17th, just one point above the relegation zone before the international break.
