As the interest of Premier League powerhouses Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle United grows, Bryan Mbeumo is not in a hurry to sign a new deal at Brentford. The excellent performances of Brentford's other important players had previously gone unnoticed, with Ivan Toney emerging as the team's star performer since Thomas Frank led The Bees to the Premier League back in 2021. Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo both performed admirably during Toney's extended absence from the team last season owing to an FA-imposed ban. 

In the last days of the summer window, Nottingham Forest made a £25 million approach for the former, which Brentford rejected. In 2025, the 25-year-old may become one of the Premier League's most sought-after players. Brentford signed Mbeumo for just under £6 million in 2019, and after placing 16th on the table they have some tough decisions to make. The Cameroonian international's contract is expiring in just two years.
