Marc Guehi has put Newcastle and Liverpool on notice with contract decision
It's been predicted that Marc Guehi would depart Crystal Palace next summer.
Given the growing uncertainty surrounding Marc Guehi's future at Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Newcastle United have been placed back on red alert. The England international was the target of intense attention during a busy summer transfer window, especially from Newcastle. According to reports, Eddie Howe's team made four bids for Guehi; nevertheless, Palace resisted the Magpies' advances.
Liverpool have reportedly expressed interest as well, although if they make a move, it's anticipated to happen in the summer of 2025. Guehi's decision to not sign a new deal with Palace may have already given Newcastle and Liverpool more optimism. Guehi's contract with the Capital Club is set to expire in June 2026, but he isn't actively attempting to extend it. Guehi's stance will almost definitely compel Palace to sell the defender if it holds true going into the summer 2025 transfer window.
