West Ham United are reportedly willing to pay £30 million to sign 23-year-old Brazilian international Igor Jesus, with intermediaries signalling the East London club’s intention.
Globo Esporte, a Brazilian publication, said that West Ham United is interested in Igor Jesus. Next year, the Hammers are eager to add a striker to strengthen their offensive unit. The Brazilian international has therefore become a target, and the East London club has indicated through agents that they are willing to pay £30 million to get his talents. Since joining Botafogo from Shadal Al-Ahli during the summer transfer window, Igor Jesus has made a name for himself as one of the top promising talents in his own country. The striker has made an immediate impression on the team at the Nilton Santos Olympics Stadium.
The 23-year-old has made 22 appearances for Botafogo thus far, contributing three assists and eight goals. Jesus's development at the Brazilian Serie A team, meantime, has drawn interest from a number of renowned clubs around Europe, particularly in the Premier League.
