Youssouf Fofana, a midfielder for Monaco and France, responded to rumors that he would sign with Manchester United or Arsenal during the summer transfer window. Since arriving in Monaco from Strasbourg in 2020, the 25-year-old has emerged as one of the most sought-after midfield players in European sport.
He has made 175 appearances for the Ligue 1 team across all competitions, scoring seven goals during that time. In fact, Fofana's rise in recent years has made him a regular contributor to Didier Deschamps' France team, where he has made 17 appearances. The gifted midfielder, will get the opportunity to display his skills even more this summer at Euro 2024. In addition to PSG, Milan, and Atletico Madrid, who are reportedly keeping an eye on the player, United and Arsenal will undoubtedly be watching with interest. His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, and Monaco is under increasing pressure to cash in soon with a bargain £20million deal.
