Tottenham and Man Utd are vying for a Lille attacker
Several Premier League teams are allegedly after the Ligue 1 star, including Manchester United and Tottenham.
Many Premier League teams have shown interest in a 19-goal Ligue 1 forward, Jonathan David. Before leaving to play for Canada, in all competitions last season for Lille, the 24-year-old scored 26 goals and provided nine assists in 47 appearances. Later he joined his national team Canada, in the Copa America this summer. Lille has not had official contact with any interested clubs, but he is on several teams' watch lists. Even though David's Decathlon Arena contract expires in the summer of next year, Transfermarkt still values him at a whopping £50 million.
After Old Trafford mainstay Anthony Martial finally bid Manchester goodbye at the end of the season, their search for Rasmus Hojlund's forward partner continues, and it looks like David is high on the list of possible replacements.
