With the signing of a two-year contract extension, Aleksandar Pavlović has committed his future to Bayern Munich, keeping him with the record Bundesliga winners until June 30, 2029. Pavlović's new contract is a reward for an outstanding senior season that included 25 first-team games across all competitions and his first senior Germany cap. The 20-year-old midfield player was even selected for his nation's UEFA Euro 2024 team, but tonsillitis forced him to withdraw on the day of the championship game.

The Munich-born player made his Bundesliga debut against Borussia Dortmund in der Klassiker on November 4, 2023, after joining Bayern at the age of seven and rising through the ranks of the youth teams and reserves. He marked the occasion with his first of two Bundesliga assists in 2023–24. In addition, he scored in Bayern's consecutive victories against Augsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach. He played in three matches as Bayern advanced to the UEFA Champions League semifinals.
