Bayer Leverkusen maintains their unbeaten streak

Bayer Leverkusen's undefeated streak reached 46 games this season with a 2-2 home draw against Stuttgart on Saturday.

With a 2-2 draw at home against Stuttgart on Saturday, Robert Andrich's game-winning kick with the final seconds of play extended Bayer Leverkusen's unbeaten streak to 46 games this season. In the sixth minute of stoppage time, champions Leverkusen, trailing 2-1 and facing their first loss of the season in any competition, were leveled by a brilliant strike from Andrich on a loose ball.

The goal extends Leverkusen's incredible run of goals scored in the last minutes of games. Last week, Xabi Alonso's team scored a late goal against Borussia Dortmund in the seventh minute of injury time to draw 1-1. Stuttgart took the lead with two goals in nine minutes at the start of the second half from Chris Führich and Deniz Undav. Amine Adli pulled one back after 61 minutes. Leverkusen increased their pressure but was unable to break through, until Andrich’s late goal to tie the score.
