Winger Michael Olise of Crystal Palace has decided to sign with Bayern Munich this summer, and it is now anticipated that the German powerhouse will finalize an agreement for the 22-year-old. After yet another stellar season at Selhurst Park, Olise has drawn interest from many Premier League teams, Chelsea among them. Olise, who only played in 19 games for Palace the previous season, finished with 10 goals and 6 assists. It was also believed that Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Manchester City were interested in signing him. However, Bayern has now gained an advantage over other Premier League teams in the competition to recruit the France youth international.

After Harry Kane and Eric Dier, Olise would be the third player to join Bayern from England in the previous season if a deal can be reached. Olise's Palace contract contains a convoluted release clause that would enable him to leave the team for almost £60 million. Bayern is yet to finalize the deal.
