Arsenal may be considering Yann Bisseck
Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Yan Bisseck, who has fallen in the pecking order at Inter Milan, with a €25 million fee mooted.
Inter-Live claims that Arsenal may be considering Yann Bisseck before the January transfer market opens. Due to the Inter Milan defender's recent decline in the hierarchy under Simone Inzaghi, the Gunners may decide to test their determination by making a €25 million bid. Arsenal needs something, but they most definitely don't need a defender right now, what with their current strong backline.
Their defensive configuration took years to develop, and as it stands, Mikel Arteta's team features one of the greatest backlines in all of football. Because of this, it would be foolish to count on them to purchase a new defense when the offense and maybe even the midfield still rank first. Given his familiarity with Arteta, it wouldn't be shocking if the Spanish manager added a new defender, as he may feel the need to make little adjustments to his squad. Takehiro Tomiyasu, for example, has raised some eyebrows after suffering yet another injury during the preseason.
