Romelu Lukaku had a successful Napoli debut, scoring the equalizer that set up Saturday's last-gasp 2-1 victory over 10-man Parma. The Belgium striker, finalized a permanent move to Napoli from Chelsea on Thursday, bringing an end to a protracted period of uncertainty with the Blues. He helped save his new squad from an embarrassing defeat against a Parma team that had to play nearly 30 minutes with a man down and an outfield player. Substitute Lukaku scored his first goal for Napoli in the second of a monstrous 15 minutes of added time.
Zion Suzuki was sent off in the 76th minute while Suzuki's expulsion for a second booking came seconds after coach Fabio Pecchia had made his final available replacements for Parma, who had grabbed an unexpected 19th-minute lead from the penalty spot via Ange-Yoan Bonny.
