Giants of La Liga Barcelona now have the opportunity to sign a free player to replace their current central defense. Mundo Deportivo claims as much, citing Mario Hermoso as the concerned player. Hermoso, a Spaniard, hasn't had a club since the beginning of the summer. This comes after the 29-year-old and his longtime employer Atlético Madrid were unable to come to an agreement about the parameters of a renewal.

In turn, a wide range of sides from all around the continent have been suggested as possible Hermoso landing sites. Additionally, as previously mentioned, on Tuesday, yet another name was added to this list. According to a Mundo Deportivo source, the Camp Nou management has started looking for central defense reinforcements ahead of the transfer deadline because all three of Ronald Araújo, Andreas Christensen, and Eric García have ailments. And among all of it, it is believed that Deco and company received an offer for Hermoso from his delegates.
