For only the fourth time in the team's history, Barcelona has unveiled their new away uniform for the 2024–2025 season, which includes a black jersey. The Spanish powerhouses, who unveiled a new home uniform in July, will once more try to commemorate their 125th anniversary by dressing in an original, stylish way.

Although Barca's home uniform honored the past, their away uniform looks forward by fusing the club's recognizable stripes with a striking black backdrop. The Camp Nou team has only worn black apparel four times, in 2011–12, 2013–14, and 2020–21. This season will be their fourth. Barca has a proven track record of success with black jerseys; in 2011–12, they won both the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey. In an effort to wrest back the La Liga championship from Real Madrid, players including Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Lamine Yamal will all be sporting the black design.
