FC Barcelona officially confirmed its latest player transfer
"FC Barcelona and AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the transfer of Julian Araujo to the English club for 10 million euros ($10.95 million)," started a brief statement.
"FC Barcelona publicly expresses its gratitude to Araujo for his dedication and commitment, and wishes him every success in the future," said the statement.
The Blaugrana went on to detail how Araujo joined the Barca Athletic reserve team after moving to Catalonia from MLS team LA Galaxy in February 2023. The outstanding player for the Mexico national team, born in California, played on loan at Pedri's previous squad, Las Palmas, last season. Garcia Pimienta, the current head coach of Sevilla, was once the head coach of Barca B. After scoring two goals in 28 games as a right defender, Araujo traveled to the United States with Barca's first squad for their preseason trip.
