Portland Trail Blazers thrashed Minnesota, 122-108
Portland Trail Blazers make a comeback with a blazing 122-108 win.
After their embarrassing loss to Ja Morant-less Memphis Grizzlies, the Portland Trail Blazers made a comeback hoping to set things back on track. Shooting 18 of 32 from three-point range with 56.3% shooting accuracy, the Blazers summed up a total of 122 points while continuously hammering the Wolves for 48 minutes straight. This was the second of three meetings between these two teams over six days, and the Portland Trail Blazers’ lineup was thin as DeAndre Ayton was a late scratch from their usual starting lineup.
Jaden McDaniels stole the spotlight for his incredible performance, scoring 17 points on 8 of 10 shooting. He got going early and made an impact on both sides of the floor. Off the bench, Naz Reid contributed energy and scored goals, like he often does. Reid scored 28 points, nailed four three-pointers, and was typically the catalyst for the Wolves' runs. The teams will face each other once more at Moda Center in Portland.
