Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski has joined Girona in the Spanish La Liga for a club-record fee of about £7 million. The Reds ace became a major fan favorite after arriving from MTK Budapest for £500,000 in the summer of 2022, under then-manager Jim Goodwin. Miovski scored 44 goals in 97 appearances for the Dons, his most recent appearance was when he came off the bench in a 3-1 victory against St Mirren on Sunday. His transfer to Spain sees him join Girona on a four-year contract, breaking Aberdeen's record sale and exceeding the sum paid by Liverpool for Calvin Ramsay in 2022.

Dons Chief Executive Alan Burrows supported the decision and shared, “Bojan has been a magnificent number nine for Aberdeen and although we are clearly sad to be losing him, we’re also delighted that he has achieved such an exciting move.
