Giannis Antetokounmpo had 31 points and 16 rebounds, Damian Lillard scored 34 points, and the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Utah Jazz 123-100 on Thursday to end a six-game losing streak. After missing Monday night's 116-114 defeat against Cleveland due to a right adductor injury, Antetokounmpo returned to play.
Since March 2015, the Bucks hadn't dropped six in a row. They managed to prevent their first seven-game losing streak since they lost eight straight games in March 2014. Jordan Clarkson led the Jazz with 18 points off the bench. Before the Bucks grabbed control with a 17-1 run late in the third quarter, Utah had a 71-70 lead. During that run, Lillard and Antetokounmpo scored 15 of Milwaukee's points. The Jazz hit 14 of 26 from beyond the arc in the first half to take a 61-57 lead at the intermission.
