Lazio are keeping an eye on Vasco Da Gama full-back Lucas Piton
Lazio are reportedly among a host of Serie A clubs keeping an eye on Vasco Da Gama full-back Lucas Piton.
The 24-year-old Brazilian left-back, Lucas Piton, born in Jundiaí and holding an Italian passport, began his career at Corinthians before joining Vasco da Gama in January 2023. Piton has impressed with his offensive contributions, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 47 appearances this season. His performances have caught the attention of several Italian clubs, including Lazio, Roma, Milan, and Fiorentina, according to Fussball Europa (via LazioNews24).
Although Piton recently extended his contract with Vasco until December 2028, featuring a €9 million release clause, reports suggest the club may consider offers around €7.5 million. However, Lazio’s left-back positions are well-covered by Nuno Tavares, one of Europe’s standout full-backs, and Luca Pellegrini, a dependable option. Both are expected to finalize permanent transfers from Arsenal and Juventus, respectively, next season.
